Adriana de Moura ‘sorry’ for comparing injury to Alexia Nepola’s son’s accident

“Real Housewives of Miami” star Adriana de Moura is “deeply sorry” for comparing her foot injury to the near-fatal car accident survived by Alexia Nepola’s 26-year-old son, Frankie Rosello, in 2011.

“I regret using the analogy,” the “Feel the Rush” singer, 57, says on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, describing her remarks as “unfortunate.”

She adds, “It wasn’t correct and if I could take those words back, I would.”

During the Feb. 16 episode of “RHOM,” de Moura’s foot was hurt after castmates Guerdy Abraira and Kiki Barth fell on top of it during an oceanside “Rage and Release” exercise in the Bahamas.

De Moura suspected her foot was broken, while a handful of her co-stars — including Nepola, 55 — opined that her reaction to the incident was attention-seeking.

Despite the tension, a subsequent boat ride to a private beach provided an opportunity for the “Miami” ladies to let loose and get along, as they danced to de Moura’s new song “Fyah.”

“We had that beautiful moment on the boat where everybody is just enjoying ‘Fyah’ and everybody’s happy,” she recounts.

“And when we finally got to the beach, I was telling Julia [Lemigova], ‘I’m so happy that this song has this power to unite us and we all can have fun, even if it’s for a minute.’”

Inspired by the semblance of peace, de Moura thought she’d tell Nepola and the rest of the group how their collective response to her foot injury made her feel dismissed.

“It was an accident. It could have happened to any of us,” Nepola told de Moura during the conversation.

“But accidents have consequences, as you know with Frankie,” she then replied.

“Now when I look back at that time, I see that it was wrong to use the analogy. Obviously, the accident didn’t compare to Frankie’s — obviously — and I wasn’t trying to compare,” she tells Page Six.

“I was trying to get some empathy from her and that was the point I was trying to make. I was like, ‘Please give some empathy.’”

Needless to say, Moura’s comments only infuriated Nepola, who called her new adversary a “bitch,” a “clown” and a “bad person” as the conflict played out on Thursday’s all-new episode.

“Frankie’s accident changed my life, changed all of our lives, changed his brother Peter’s life,” Nepola tearfully said in a confessional. “It’s been 11 years. It’s so hard.”

Frankie was riding in the passenger seat of a friend’s car at the time of the life-altering crash, resulting in permanent brain damage and years of recovery.

De Moura eventually apologized to Nepola during their cast trip, claims she reiterated her remorse off-camera and even said sorry once more at the recently taped Season 5 reunion.

However, she says Nepola — who also shares Frankie and 30-year-old son Peter Rosello with ex-husband Peter Rosello Sr. — seems unwilling to move forward.

“It doesn’t matter how much I apologize and I’ve apologized profusely, like, pretty much down on my knees and she would not accept my apology,” de Moura insists.
