Bethenny Frankel posted a side-by-side photo of her and pal Kelly Ripa’s backsides, cheekily asking fans, “Who wore it best?”
In the snap, posted to Instagram Tuesday, the “Real Housewives of New York” alum, 52, sported a white sweater with purple bikini cut undies as she stood atop a dog bed.
Meanwhile, the shot of Frankel’s longtime friend showed Ripa beachside in a bathing suit.
The photo used of the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” host was a cropped post from the actress’ Instagram featuring her and her husband Mark Consuelos on the beach in black swimsuits in 2020.
After jokingly asking if she is “still eligible” for a New Year’s gym membership discount, the Skinny Girl CEO wrote, “And I would kiss miss Kelly’s ass any day of the week!”
“Perfection!” she added in reference to the beachside bum pic Frankel posted of Kelly Ripa.
The business owner was quick to shut down Instagram users throwing shade in the comments.
“It’s my add [sic] and my Instagram and my friend and my choice. Any other questions?” she replied to a fan who asked, “Bethanny [sic] really why do you need this?”
Another user commented that the fashionista was giving “humble brag vibes while trying to be funny and relatable,” to which Frankel responded, “Well tough s–t.”
Despite the shade, other users applauded Frankel’s candid post with one user commenting that her unfiltered photo was a “breath of fresh air.”

The Skinnygirl mogul has been outspoken about the “destructive” quality of filters, secret plastic surgery and beauty standards, calling out celebrities who use photo manipulation in a December interview with Oprah Daily.
“Certain celebs say, ‘I look this way because I don’t drink and I sleep a lot.’ People are lying. See a celebrity or a housewife in person versus their social media and [the difference] is staggering,” Frankel said.
Frankel has previously posted before-and-after photos of herself with and without editing — also partnering with Laura Geller Beauty for a “reverse Photoshopped” campaign — to prove her point of unrealistic beauty standards.
While the reality star has bashed unrealistic beauty standards and secret plastic surgery, Frankel admitted to fans in November her “serious plans” to go under the knife herself, saying that she has also received Botox in her jaw to sculpt her face, filler once and a breast lift 15 years ago.
“In today’s world of filters and facetune and people being outright dishonest about how they look… it’s so important to me that I remain transparent about my physical appearance, especially now that I’m in this beauty space,” Frankel shared.
