She’s looking picture perfect and doesn’t need a filter.
Hailey Bieber opened up about her business, past fashion faux pas, and even her marriage as she stars on the cover of next month’s Vogue Australia.
The 26-year-old model shines on the cover of the March issue, gazing into the camera holding her arms over her head with the sun gleaming behind her as she poses in a Saint Laurent dress, and Tiffany & Co. bangle and ring.
“Let there be light,” reads the text on the cover beside her.
Hailey was interviewed for the magazine by her husband of four years, pop star Justin Bieber, from the comfort of their home in Beverly Hills.
The “Intentions” singer kicks off the interview with an “I love you, baby,” before delving into her skincare business, Rhode, which released its first line of products last year after years of diligent planning.
Hailey said that since launching the company, “The most rewarding thing for me has been when someone will come up to me and express how much they love the brand and how much they love the product.”
When Justin asked his wife if the company had a “mission statement,” Hailey said that “my mission statement for my style and aesthetic in general is, ‘less is more.’”
The model even offered business advice to those looking to start their own business, which she said can be “a leap of faith.”
“Be okay with the mishaps that happen,” she said. “There’s so many ups, but there are also downs, like anything in life.”
She said she was inspired to start the company by other friends who had also “gone on that founder’s journey” in the business world.
“It’s been helpful for me to be able to have that support and be able to have honest conversations about the highs and the lows of building a brand.”
Justin added that watching his wife build Rhode has been “the coolest.”
The “Peaches” warbler then asked his wife what her biggest fashion “regret” was, and she had a quick answer for him, recalling a specifically embarrassing pink dress she sported a few years back.
“I feel like I have a lot, but the biggest one that comes to mind in this moment is, a couple of years ago I wore this pink … it was this boxy-looking vest dress, and I thought it was going to be the cutest thing ever. I wore it, and I saw the photographs after and it legitimately looked like I was inside a box. I looked like a present, and it was so bad.”
Hailey even opened up about her marriage to the pop star. The couple tied the knot in 2018.
“My favorite thing about being married is honestly the companionship I feel we have. Genuinely, you are my best friend in the entire world.”
Hailey also revealed that her favorite album right now is SZA’s “SOS.” When pushed by Justin for her favorite track, she said, “Far.”
The Hailey Bieber cover issue of Vogue Australia will be published on March 6.
